WHAT IS IT?



It is an Archdiocesan Retreat Centre in Trinidad & Tobago administered by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny, an international Congregation with its Mother House at 21 rue Mechain, 75014 Paris, France.

​

The Centre hosts , as well, other groups such as The School of Communications, Marriage Encounter, Engaged Encounter, Youth Groups, Catechists groups, Children Confirmation groups, Prayer Groups.

Religious Congregations who use the facilities for their own programmes and many other spiritually based programmes.



Our facilities also accommodates meetings and conferences.





WHY THE NAME “EMMAUS”

​

It was on the road to Emmaus that the two disciples met Jesus, spoke with Him, and came to recognize Him in the breaking of the bread. “Emmaus” has come to be synonymous with “encountering the Lord”.

​

It is hoped that this will be the experience of whoever comes to the Centre.
